Jeremiah
Finally got around to carving a piece of that Arizona cottonwood bark. Once past the flake and grit from the outside surface, this was a solid piece. Very nice to carve. I found a mountain man hiding in this one. I finished him with Deft Satin, and a coat of Feed-N-Wax. Comments welcome.

Driftwood Spirit
Carved this from a cedar root several years ago. It has been outside and needed a face lift, so I re-carved it and sealed with spar urethane.

Cottonwood Bark
Was glad to see the mail carrier today. Finally got my order of cottonwood bark from Arizona. This is some of the biggest bark I have seen, the largest piece is 5" wide and 4" thick. Can't wait to start carving on this, but I have a couple projects to finish first.
