Big Shoal Country Fair
On Saturday, September 8, Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum hosted the Big Shoal Country Fair. It was a cool, rainy and windy day. But fellow woodcarver Kerby Vincent and I stuck it out along with other local artists and crafters. Pickin' on the porch, was local band Knobtown Skiffle Band. They entertained everyone with "old-timey" music. The trio consisted of an upright bass, washboard, guitar and dueling kazoos. Met some new friends and sold a few carvings. All in all it was a good day!

Christmas in July 2018 Blue Springs
This was the first year for the Christmas in July event, at the Elk's Lodge, in Blue Springs, MO. Foot traffic was lighter than we would have liked, but overall we had a good day. Met some new friends and got a chance to visit with some old. Thanks to Shannon for her help in setting up and working the booth, and adding the lights and Christmas decor. Who say's you can't sell Christmas ornaments in July?

Oak Park Craft Fair 2017
This was our first time selling at this event. It is held at one of the local high schools and had over 150 vendors. All the vendors had to sell only handcrafted items, which was nice. The place was packed all day long and sales were great. We will definitely be back next year.
